Calling all elite pentathletes: transition to your next chapter with exclusive online IOC workshops

As the Paris 2024 Olympic season draws to a close, many athletes are focusing on their next steps and UIPM is here to support their pathway, whether they are continuing in Modern Pentathlon or not.

In collaboration with IOC Athlete365, UIPM has issued an open invitation to two transformative online workshops tailored specifically for elite pentathletes navigating their career transitions.

Both workshops are scheduled to take place in February 2025 and one will focus on self-discovery, while the other will offer practical support on CV and resumé writing. IOC certificates will be provided to all successful participants.

‘Self-Discovery – Uncover Your Strengths and Passion’ will enable athletes to explore their unique skills, values and interests and build clarity on how their athletic journey translates into new opportunities. This workshop will consist of three 1.5-hour sessions and participants can hope to gain actionable insights into their future goals and personal strengths.

‘CV/Resume Writing – Stand Out in the Job Market’ will teach athletes to craft a professional, impactful CV that highlights their transferable skills and Olympic-level dedication. This workshop will consist of two 1.5-hour sessions.

The workshops will be delivered by Anfisa Kasyanova, certified Athlete365 Educator, former pentathlete and UIPM Education and Project Manager. Distinguished retired pentathletes will also be invited to the sessions to share their personal experiences of career transition.
