UIPM 2020 Pentathlon World Cup Cairo: Men's Individual Finalists
The 2020 UIPM Pentathlon World Cup season kicked off for men today in Cairo (EGY) with 91 athletes taking part in the qualifying round for the Men's Individual Final.
The Rio 206 Olympic silver medallist and world No.5, Pavlo Tymoshchenko of Ukraine, was among the pacesetters along with world No.2 Lee Jihun of Korea, world No.3 Valentin Prades of France and and world No.4 Marvin Dogue of Germany.
The 2019 world champion, Valentin Belaud (FRA), also qualified and Ahmed Elgendy of Egypt, winner of UIPM 2019 Pentathlon World Cup Cairo, was one of the top performers.
Pentathlon World Cup Cairo continues tomorrow (February 28) with the Women's Final, followed by the Men’s Final on February 29 and the Mixed Relay on March 1.
