UIPM 2016 World Cup 1 - Men's Individual Finalists

CAIRO, EGYPT, February 25, 2016 - The world's leading male pentathletes got their elite season under way today with qualifying for the Men's Individual Final at the UIPM 2016 World Cup 1.

The competition in Cairo runs from February 24-28 and with more than 200 athletes taking part, the race has begun to prove form and fitness ahead of Rio 2016 - and, for many, to qualify for the Games.

Qualifying points will be accrued when the men return on Saturday for their final, and competition will be fierce as they jostle for the right to top the UIPM podium for the first time in 2016.

All finals sessions at the 2016 UIPM World Cup will be available on live stream at uipmtv.org starting with the Women's Individual Final from Cairo on February 26. For up-to-date results visit pentathlon.org.
