Modern Pentathlon

As one of the planet's strongest nations in Modern Pentathlon, France has continuously produced some top talent with the likes of Valentin Prades and Christopher Patte currently in the men's World top 10 and Elodie Clouvel one of the most recognisable athletes in the women's circuit.

With several centres of excellence dotted around the country, this weekend will be the opportunity to see the depth of talent in the country with the French National Championships taking place at the state of the art INSEP in Paris.

In parallel to the French Nationals, there will be an Open competition were 6 European countries are expected to take part with alongside the hosts, Germany, Czech Republic, Spain, Italy and Switzerland.

The onus will be on Elodie Clouvel and Julie Belhrami who took the women's senior and junior titles whilst Valentin Belaud was in scintillating forms as he took both all to himself.
