Great performances at the International Winter Pentathlon in Davos

Masters

All athletes from the nine participating nations (Panama, Finland, Netherlands, UK, Estonia, Italy, Austria, Germany and the host nation Switzerland) were extremely impressed by the venue.

Davos, which has a strong transport network and high-quality accommodation, is renowned for its hospitality and the city obliged with its traditional warm welcome. The Local Organizing Committee’s perfect organization included the participation of a wide range of community representatives.

Mr Markus Hostetler played the role of host and the LOC benefited from the full support of Mrs Jaqueline Schneider and Mr Max Hänni. The Masters Committee and all athletes would like to thank them on behalf of the wider Masters movement under the banner of UIPM.

For Masters Winter training the city of Davos is not only a famous winter sports resort and meeting point of the world economy, but also as a city well-equipped for staging sport.
