Tickets sold out for the Toronto 2015 Pan American Games

More than two months before the opening ceremony of the Toronto 2015 Pan American Games, fans have already snapped up all the tickets for Modern Pentathlon competition. This comes as no surprise, as a 100% ticket sell-out was achieved at the last three Olympic Games in Athens, Beijing and London.

At the 2011 Pan Am Games, in Guadalajara, hosts Mexico topped the medal table with Oscar Soto claiming Men`s Individual gold and Tamara Vega winning bronze in the Women`s Individual.

Also in the women`s competition, Margaux Isaksen (USA) got the inside track taking the gold, followed by Yane Marques (Brazil) with silver. Joining Soto (Mex) on the Men's Individual podium were Andrei Gheorghe (Guatemala) and Esteban Bustos (Chile).

For the next edition of the Pan America Games, Mexico and United States are expected to perform strongly based on the good results at the World Cup Series earlier this year. The Canadian team also carries great expectations, especially with a home crowd on their side.
