UIPM 2016 World Cup #1 - Women's Individual Finalists

CAIRO - A new Olympic season for the world's leading pentathletes got under way today with qualifying for the Women's Individual Final at the UIPM 2016 World Cup #1.

The competition in Cairo runs from February 24-28 and with more than 200 athletes taking part, the race has begun to prove form and fitness ahead of Rio 2016 - and, for many, to qualify for the Games.

Qualifying points will be accrued when the women return on Friday for their final, and competition will be fierce as they jostle for the right to top the podium for the first time in 2016.
