UIPM 2016 World Cup #4 - Men's Individual Finalists
The fourth and penultimate round of the 2016 UIPM World Cup continued today with 93 athletes taking part in the qualifying round for the Men's Individual Final. Many of the participants at World Cup #4 in Kecskemet, Hungary are still pursuing Rio 2016 Olympic Games qualifying points as well as trying to secure coveted World Cup medals and a place at the elite World Cup Final in Sarasota/Bradenton, USA (May 6-8). World No.1 and reigning World Champion Pavlo Tymoshchenko (UKR) has returned from injury to begin his preparations and he will be one of the men to catch in the final (Sunday, April 17), along with World No.5 Ilia Frolov (RUS). Six Hungarians (Peter Tibolya, Bence Demeter, Robert Kasza, Norbert Horvath, Adam Marosi and Istvan Malits) will be aiming for success on home soil. The Women's Individual Final takes place tomorrow (Saturday, April 16) and the Mixed Relay closes proceedings on Monday, April 18. Starting tomorrow at 1700 CET, all of the Finals at World Cup #4 will be available to watch via live stream at UIPM's new online TV channel uipmtv.org.
