UIPM 2019 Pentathlon World Cup Prague: Women's Finalists

UIPM 2019 Pentathlon World Cup Prague kicked off today in Hungary with 76 athletes taking part in qualification for the Women's Final.

Kate French (world No.8) of Great Britain and Marie Oteiza (1) of France were the top two performers, closely followed by Annika Schleu (6) of Germany and Natalya Coyle (5) of Ireland.

Uliana Batashova (3) and Gulnaz Gubaydullina (11) of Russia also qualified for the Final, as did Rio 2016 silver medallist Elodie Clouvel (FRA) and bronze medallist Oktawia Nowacka of Poland. 

World No.2 Sarolta Kovacs of Hungary finished outside of the qualifiers in 42nd place.

Pentathlon World Cup Prague continues tomorrow (May 24) with qualifying for the Men's Final. The finals take place from May 25-27.
