UIPM Vice-President Kitty Chiller re-elected to Australian Olympic Committee Executive

UIPM News

Kitty Chiller AM OLY, UIPM Vice President and former Olympic Chef de Mission for Team Australia, has been re-elected to the Executive of the Australian Olympic Committee.

Vice President Chiller was elected to serve under the presidency of Ian Chesterman alongside the likes of Paris 2024 double Olympic canoeing champion Jessica Fox.

The Executive was elected to guide the AOC through Milano Cortina 2026 and Los Angeles 2028 – before Brisbane 2032 inherits the Olympic torch, bringing the Games back to Oceania for the first time since Sydney 2000.

UIPM President Rob Stull said: "I was thrilled to hear about Kitty Chiller's re-election to the AOC Executive. Kitty has tremendous experience in sports administration, not least as an Olympian who served Team Australia as chef de mission at Rio 2016.

β€œShe is a great friend of all sports, especially ours, and will play a key role in the build-up to Brisbane 2032 in her home country as well as LA28 in her capacity as UIPM Vice President.”

Chiller (AUS) competed in Sydney 2000, the first Olympic Games to include a Modern Pentathlon event for women. She went on to become President of the Modern Pentathlon Australia and the Oceania Modern Pentathlon Confederation before being elected UIPM VP at UIPM 2024 Congress in Riyadh (KSA).
