The UIPM Pentathlon Challenger Spain event takes place from September 27 to October 1 and the nine students who took part in the recent course will all be on hand in Madrid for the competition. There were eight Spaniards and one Hungarian, Sarolta Zalai, among the five men and four women on the course.

UIPM JCP educator Agnes Kulcsar (HUN) said: “This was a very dilligent group of students who were eager to learn and improve their judging skills which made for a very enjoyable course in Barcelona. I thank them for their efforts and dedication and look forward to the event in Madrid later this year.”

Technical Diretcor the Spanish Modern Pentathlon Federatio Pedro Perez said: “We are all really looking forward to hosting the UIPM Pentathlon Challenger Spain in September and are focused on putting on a great competition.
