The Union Internationale de Pentathlon Moderne (UIPM) has completed a successful first demonstration event of Laser-Run with obstacles, which the federation is planning to incorporate into Modern Pentathlon’s Mixed Relay event.

There were 1576 young athletes competing during 2016 in the UIPM World Schools Biathlon from 6 countries and the competition has been tough. Certificates awarding the Top 3 athletes will be sent in digital version to the respective National Federations of awarded athletes. They will be available within April latest.

UIPM has assembled a panel of Laser-Run City Tour (LRCT) experts to supervise the roll-out of the new global venture.
The inaugural LRCT Experts took part in a workshop in Monaco on March 13/14 aimed at preparing them for a busy run of competitions during the inaugural 2017 season.
LRCT is designed to spread the sport of Laser-Run through cities and communities around the world, offering a new pathway into the Olympic sport of Modern Pentathlon and increasing the sustainability of the UIPM sporting movement.
