UIPM 2025 Annual Awards dominated by Kahlil, Mohamed and Egypt
Having dominated the 2025 Pentathlon season, it was no surprise that the supremacy of all-conquering Egypt should be recognised in the UIPM Annual Awards, with the winners announced online via UIPM TV.
World champions Farida Khalil and Moutaz Mohamed each enjoyed a double success by winning both Senior and Junior Athlete of the Year titles, while Egypt was named Best Pentathlon Team and Yasser Hefny picked up the Best Coach award.
Competition organisers were recognised, with Kaunas, Lithuania receiving the Best Overall Competition prize for hosting the UIPM 2025 Pentathlon World Championships, and Budapest, Hungary earning the accolade of Best Innovative Competition for UIPM 2025 Pentathlon World Cup. Mossel Bay, South Africa was recognised as Best Emerging Organiser for the UIPM 2025 Biathle-Triathle and Laser Run World Championships.

- Veronika Novotna (Czech Republic)
