IOC ANTI-DOPING RULES RIO 2016
The International Olympic Committee (IOC) is the supreme authority of the Olympic Movement and, in particular, the Olympic Games.
Any Person belonging in any capacity whatsoever to the Olympic Movement is bound by the provisions of the Olympic Charter and shall abide by the decisions of the IOC.
The Olympic Charter reflects the importance that the IOC places on the fight against doping in sport and its support for the World Anti-Doping Code as adopted by the IOC.

UIPM Statement on Ilia Frolov (RUS)
LAUSANNE, SWITZERLAND: July 18, 2025 – The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) has ruled in a case convened to hear an appeal by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) against a finding by the UIPM Doping Review Panel in respect of the former pentathlete, Ilia Frolov of Russia.
The aim of Olympic Solidarity is to organise assistance for all the National Olympic Committees (NOCs), particularly those with the greatest needs, through multi-faceted programmes prioritising athlete development, training of coaches and sports administrators, and promoting the Olympic ideals (Olympic Charter, rule 5).
