The Southern French city of Perpignan is all set to host the first ever edition of the UIPM Laser-Run World Championships on the 26th and 27th of September, 2015. The Local Organising Committee in Perpignan is a keen partner to UIPM in this historical moment as the sport of Laser-Run sees its debut at international level.

The championships run from August 3-10 and, with more than 100 athletes from 23 nations taking part, the Men's Individual qualifying event was a spectacular showcase for the emerging talent in the sport.
The 2015 Pan American Games Gold Medalist, Charles Fernandez (GUA) and the Youth Olympic Champion Alexander Lifanov (RUS) are some of the athletes qualified to the Final.

The Koreans were strong throughout the competition which saw 14 of the best young male Modern Pentathlete pairings from across the world go head to head on Day Five of the championships.
