Viktoriya Tereshchuk has been disqualified from the XXIX Olympiad in Beijing in 2008 and instructed to return her bronze medal, diploma and medallist pin.
Great Britain’s Olivia Green and Spain’s Cristian Chamizo started their seasons in fine style by claiming victories at the GB Youth International in Solihull today (Saturday 4th March). There were 1576 young athletes competing during 2016 in the UIPM World Schools Biathlon from 6 countries and the competition has been tough. Certificates awarding the Top 3 athletes will be sent in digital version to the respective National Federations of awarded athletes. They will be available within April latest.

UIPM has assembled a panel of Laser-Run City Tour (LRCT) experts to supervise the roll-out of the new global venture.
The inaugural LRCT Experts took part in a workshop in Monaco on March 13/14 aimed at preparing them for a busy run of competitions during the inaugural 2017 season.
LRCT is designed to spread the sport of Laser-Run through cities and communities around the world, offering a new pathway into the Olympic sport of Modern Pentathlon and increasing the sustainability of the UIPM sporting movement.

The global Modern Pentathlon community makes the first of three visits to Africa in 2017 this week as athletes from 22 nations take part in UIPM 2017 World Cup II (March 24-26).
The 2017 UIPM World Cup season resumed today with 61 athletes taking part in the qualifying round for the Men's Individual Final at World Cup II.
