A new generation of teenage athletes from across six continents heard the call to gather in Italy, united by the dream of becoming world champion.

Our movement has started something very special with the New Pentathlon Discipline Test Events in Ankara (TUR) and Manila (PHI).
Lithuania took the honours on the opening day of the UIPM 2022 Youth World Championships with success in the Under 19 Men’s Relay in Lignano Sabbiadoro (ITA).
The day also featured qualification for the Under 17 Women’s Semi-final, with 36 athletes moving forward to the second phase.

Under 19 Day 1
Egypt stood out on the second day of the UIPM 2022 Youth World Championships with success in the Under 19 Women’s Relay.
Day 2 of the combined age-group competition in Lignano Sabbiadoro (ITA) also featured qualification for the Under 17 Men’s Semi-final, with 36 athletes moving forward to the second phase.

Under 19 Day 2
Mexico tasted glory on the third day of the UIPM 2022 Youth World Championships with success in the Under 19 Mixed Relay in Lignano Sabbiadoro (ITA).
The day also featured the Under 17 Women’s Semi-finals, with 18 athletes surviving elimination to advance to the showpiece race on September 8.

Under 19 Day 3
Eighteen athletes have earned the right to compete in the Under 17 Men’s Final at the UIPM 2022 Youth World Championships in Lignano Sabbiadoro (ITA).
The day also featured the first day of individual qualification for the Under 19 Women, with 36 athletes progressing to the Semi-finals.
Under 17 Day 4
05.08 – 08.08-2022: Manila, PHI
UIPM President Dr Klaus Schormann began a trip to South-East Asia by meeting Philippine Olympic Committee President Abraham Tolentino, together with Philippine Modern Pentathlon Association President Richard Gomez (also a politician and movie star) and his Vice President, Matt Torres.
